Researched and transcribed by Richard Weller, a booklet containing his research is in Barnsley Archives. 


Produced in 2014 the book, "The Fallen, Their Stories", by Rex and Janet Dyson of the Penistone History Group, commemorates the men from Thurlstone and Hoylandswaine who fell in WW1, including all the names on this memorial. More information can be found here.
